Does Erdogan know this?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan could have obtained everything he wanted from Libya without the help of mercenaries and terrorists, and without considering that this country is a historical Ottoman legacy and that he is more entitled to it than even from its people. If this becomes a justification for international interference in the affairs of other countries, then it will lead to endless grinding wars, which will certainly be more dangerous than the “Corona” epidemic, which is threatening the entire world which was threatened by many epidemics in the past, among them the dreaded “plague” disease, which, even just mentioning it, still constitutes more horror than the horror of the First World and Second World wars.

It is not possible to accept all these justifications cited by the Turkish president in order to send convoys of mercenaries who were sent to an Arab country between Turkey and the Mediterranean barrier, as “Libya” is a state that has its own people, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan has no right to consider it an Ottoman heritage and he is more entitled to this legacy. That “what passed is dead” and that the Ottoman Empire was a passing historical case, like all countries that passed through this region and elsewhere, but it all ended and became just a few lines in the history books.

Moreover, if Erdogan is considered to be the “legitimate heir” of the Ottomans, then he must realize that the “Ottoman” state was a major empire, and that it included multiple peoples and factions, and that there were other than the Turks who were senior leaders in its armies and components, and that although it had continued for more than four centuries ago, it is considered no more than a fleeting moment in the march of history.

That is why Erdogan has to turn this “Ottoman” page first because there are many others who will claim that they are more deserving of it, and secondly because “Istanbul” itself was the capital of the Byzantine Empire, and then that most of the current Turkey’s properties were “Umayyad” and “Abbasid” properties and also “ Crusade, ”and therefore it is better for him to turn this page permanently and deal with matters on the basis of common interests between states and between peoples.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has the right to look  for the interests of his country, Turkey, everywhere on the globe, including Libya and others, but far from all these unacceptable arguments and excuses that he echoes. This Arab country has its own people and they cannot allow anyone to dominate it or interfere in it. In his affairs, based on arguments that are neither acceptable nor reasonable.
