Dr. Ahmed Al-Saadi said that stratum corneum (SC) transplants are performed as a one-day surgery procedure, and the patient does not need hospitalization before or after the operation, and it is often performed under local anesthesia, after which the patient leaves home and is given a follow-up appointment.
