The US Department of Defense has unveiled the first-ever tank powered by artificial intelligence technology. Developed as part of the RACER project, the massive tank, weighing 12 tonnes, aims to automate weaponry and eliminate the need for a driver inside the tank.
Specifically designed for ground operations across rugged terrains, this tank can reach targeted areas without relying on conventional routes that enemies might anticipate.
Operating autonomously in executing these invasion missions, the tank leverages artificial intelligence to navigate complex conditions and manoeuvre through the least expected paths to efficiently achieve its objectives.
