As temperatures rise, the Automobile Club Europe (ACE) advises against directing the cold air stream from the car air conditioner directly at the body or face, as it may lead to conjunctivitis.
The experts of the German club warned that it could also cause a cold or circulatory problem if there is a big difference between the temperature of the car’s interior cabin and the outside air.
Therefore, the difference between the temperature outside and the temperature inside the car should not exceed 8 degrees.
Meanwhile, experts warned that a car cabin temperature that exceeds 27 degrees Celsius increases the risk of accidents due to fatigue and poor concentration.
