Egypt has the right to respond to Turkey’s attempt to reconcile with it, on the condition that it changes many of its behaviours, whether with Egypt, or with some, if not all, Arab countries. This applies to Iran as well, which, whether under the reign of Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi, or under the era of the guardian jurist, continued to interfere flagrantly in all Arab internal affairs. This intervention took a security and military character in the situations of four Arab countries. This issue is clear, overt, and witnessed by all.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, before he wooed Egypt, had to review himself and reconsider the behavior of his “regime”, and not the actions of Turkey, which Arabs continued to consider and still consider it a sisterly country. The blatant Turkish military intervention in the affairs of Syria, Iraq and Libya across the Mediterranean cannot be accepted, neither by the Egyptian state, which is the big sister, nor by not some, but all of the states of this great nation. No single Arab can accept, unless he is one of those who have sold their consciences and betrayed even themselves and abandoned their great nation, that this Turkish regime interferes in Arab affairs with all this outrageous interference, and that it crosses the Mediterranean and occupies Tripoli, on the pretext that Libya was part of the Ottoman Empire, which had fallen because of its nefarious actions and deeds.
The Empire, which Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) had dealt a decisive blow to. In fact, Recep Tayyip Erdogan had to: “be ashamed of himself” before heading to Egypt with this outrageous offer, which he made to this country which is considered the incubator of Arabs and Arabism .
As for our “brothers” on the eastern bank, before they approach us with a request like Erdogan’s request, which is a request that is dripping with deception, manipulation and a miserable attempt trickery deceit, they must return the three islands, which “the Shahanshah” Iran had occupied in a sick historical moment, to our brothers in the United Arab Emirates. Thus, all Arabs, without exception, want fraternal relations with Turkey and Iran, but on the basis of sincere brotherhood, common interests, and away from the infamous interference in Arab affairs.
