We, the nation, the Islamic and Arab nations and the entire world bid farewell to the man of love, peace, goodness, loyalty, honesty and humanity, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (God rest his soul).
With his passing, the world lost a man whose good deeds are known to the whole world, and the state lost the man who helped the founding fathers build the state and lay its first building blocks, as the right-hand man in planning this comprehensive renaissance until he became the head of the state.
Our loss is great, but we are consoled by the fact that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the one receiving the flag by the unanimous vote of the Federal Supreme Council to be the President and leader of the United Arab Emirates, which in his reign will continue on the path, that His Highness helped shape and set the policies and strategies for, to achieve renaissance and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates is the best successor to the best predecessor.
He is an exceptional and patriotic leader, characterized by deep wisdom and strategic vision in internal and external issues, as well as an intellectual, personal and institutional presence in international forums and among decision-makers throughout the world.
His reign will be an extension of the approach, giving, the path of success, construction and development that the state witnessed at the hands of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, and his late brother Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed (God rest their souls), and he is the shadow of the founding father Sheikh Zayed and his extension in us, as he learned from his school and derived wisdom, humanity and attitudes from him.
During the era of His Highness, the UAE is looking forward to new, more developed and prosperous times, reaching the highest ranks, after His Highness contributed to and led the boom and renaissance in the past period, as his Highness is the founder of the centenary of our country and the author of its plans and policies aimed at making the Emirates the pioneer in every field, and we are confident that our country will be safer and more secure during the era of the protector of our union.
His Highness has won the confidence of the founding leader who pushed the march of the union to higher and loftier positions, protecting the land with sincerity and determination, and leading the armed forces in the Emirates to be one of the strongest and most valiant armies.
The inspiring Zayed School will continue to lead the Emirates to the top, and the Emirates will continue to follow its path of pioneering and world leadership, transferring the banner of glory from one honest hand to another, the hands of men who believed in their Lord and worked for their people, making them the happiest people in the world, and making the Emirates an important pivotal and influential country on the international stage.
With God’s help and the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the helm of its leadership, our country is on the cusp of a new phase of prosperity, happiness, security, safety, sustainability of renaissance and development, and continuing to play a more influential role in its region and the world in all fields.
His Highness is a leader characterized by great prestige at the international level, and has remarkable positions have placed him in the ranks of the most influential leaders at the regional and global levels.
