The UAE managed to carve its name in golden letters on the history pages, achieving a historical achievement, made even more significant by the fact that the research teams and the cadres that made this dream a reality, were Emirati.
We couldn’t have achieved great things and overcame every challenge without our inspiring leadership that believes in the local cadres, looks forward to great heights, and dedicates its time, expertise and effort to achieve its goals, where there is no room for the word impossible.
The UAE has officially entered the global race to explore outer space using the “Hope probe”, and then launched the “Rashid Rover” on its journey to the moon, which is the first arab mission of its kind.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai has set the goals of the UAE to include transferring knowledge, developing abilities and leaving its scientific fingerprint on the history of humanity, and by launching the Rashid Rover to its destination, the UAE is standing at a new milestone for its cadres and youth, titled by “moon exploration”.
The UAE’s space sector has become a reality, according to the UAE Centennial 2071 Plan, which aims to continue developing the role of the space industry in expanding the economy based on knowledge, advanced skills, boosting the contribution of the space sector in diversifying the economy, attracting specialized companies, and leading investments in the Emirati space industry.
Every Emirati and Arab has the right to be proud of this historical achievement, made possible by the UAE, and here is the new mission for the Rashid Rover reaffirming the continuity of the UAE’s achievements in the space sector.
The UAE’s move to explore space under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opens new scientific doors for Emirati and Arab youth as well as everyone who means well to humanity.
