The people of the Emirates are always first in line for humanitarian work, as this approach followed by the UAE is rooted in its people’s values and principles, who follow the inspiring and exceptional example of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, since the establishment of the Union.
Therefore, the UAE’s leadership did not hesitate for a moment to use all human and material resources to be a part of the humanitarian aid to Syria and Turkey, thus reaffirming its continued march on the good path set by the late founder of the UAE.
We have seen the people of the Emirates embody a humanitarian saga, by implementing the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, through Operation “The Chivalrous Knight 2”, under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces and many charitable and humanitarian agencies in the country.
This operation aimed to alleviate the suffering of the UAE’s brothers, as it embodies the lofty humanitarian message of the Emirates, affirming its willingness to extend bridges of communication, goodness and giving to those in need around the world.
The UAE proved its emphasis on humanitarian efforts and that it is the first to answer the calls of the needy, sending charitable convoys and contributing to ensuring a better life for affected people all over the world, thereby sending the finest message to the whole world, “With goodness and giving, nations rise and prosper”.
Furthermore, the values of solidarity and cohesion unique to the Emirates in the face of crises have become evident over generations.
The UAE is working hard to enhance the process of international cooperation and boost its humanitarian role and rapid response in various situations and events by training its cadres and rescue teams in crisis and disaster management to alleviate the suffering of the afflicted and contribute to reducing their losses and provide them with all the necessary capabilities, food and medical resources.
