Held from February 20 to 24, at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the 16th edition of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the 7th edition of the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2023, concluded their activities.
The activities included in the two exhibitions, along with the high level of organization by the highest international standards, the large number of participating local and international companies, and the officials who visited them, as well as the deals signed during the event, demonstrate that IDEX and NAVDEX are two of the largest international exhibitions specialized in showcasing the latest defence military technologies.
The activities of the two exhibitions reaffirmed the great progress witnessed by the UAE military and defence industries, and the ability of national companies and cadres to deal with modern technologies in this field.
Furthermore, this event allowed the world to learn about Emirati defence products up close, which have become a source of pride for every Emirati, especially given the widespread international praise for them.
Moreover, IDEX and NAVDEX 2023 provided a great opportunity for dialogue and exchange of views between officials in the UAE and their counterparts from different countries around the world attending the event’s activities, thus it constitutes an important opportunity to strengthen relations between the UAE and the countries of the world at the military, political and security levels.
IDEX and NAVDEX 2023 bolstered the position of the UAE on the map of major international events, highlighting its superior ability to organize the largest exhibitions and conferences in the world with great efficiency.
This earned the UAE global confidence that is clearly reflected in the wide global participation in the economic, military, cultural and tourism events organized in the Emirates, as it has become very experienced in organizing such events, ensuring their success and achieving their goals.
