Rheinmetall has showcased its advanced defence system on the Panzerjaeger, a four-wheel drive vehicle, providing high manoeuvrability, adequate protection, and a comfortable design to enhance crew endurance.
Moreover, the system’s components, including sensors, equipment, and weapons, can be customised to meet user requirements.
Key features of the Panzerjaeger include the EOS500 electro-optical sensor system mounted on a telescopic mast, offering direct visual observation with a target detection range exceeding 11 kilometres. The system also integrates three Rheinmetall “Recce S” drones, each with a reconnaissance range of 8 kilometres, and an onboard charging station.
