The UAE has become a beacon and a capital of goodness and humanity, based on the legacy of the founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, his wisdom and his vision of the necessity of harnessing wealth to make people happy and serve them.
On every occasion, crises in the international arena intensify, and confusion hangs over the global scene, the UAE, under its wise leadership, reiterates, as usual, that it is an effective basis and a major international partner to maintain stability, end crises and all their negative repercussions and effects and alleviate the suffering of those affected. The UAE determination, for the sake of good, security, peace and stability, has never known the impossible, no matter how great the complexities are, because the UAE goals always put the interest of humanity above all considerations.
In the recent past, the whole world was preoccupied with what is happening on the Afghan scene, and began to anticipate what would happen to Afghanistan, its people, and the helpless foreigners residing on its land. In the midst of these quarrels, the Emirates emerged as usual in a time of adversity, indifferent to the dangers, difficulties and obstacles it will face. The Emirati air eagles(airmen) pounced, piercing the horrors as usual, and they evacuated the Emirati diplomats amid compelling circumstances. Immediately, their wise and blessed leadership awarded them the Medals of Courage and Medals of “Emirates Military”, expressing the pride of the leadership and people in the UAE armed forces’ heroes, protectors of the homeland, for the heroic stances and honorable actions, that reflect their authentic values of courage, giving, sincerity and dedication, they offer to their homeland and people.
The UAE was not satisfied with only evacuating its diplomats, but also operated air bridges, one after another, transporting other nationality citizens to their home countries. The UAE’s name, since its inception, has been coupled with benevolence, giving and humanity. It is the undisputed capital of the human world, and it will remain – God willing – with the determination of its rulers and the support of its people, a home of goodness, tolerance and relief to the helpless and the desperate.
Reactions expressing continued international appreciation in recognition of the pioneering role of the UAE and its leaders in supporting humanitarian and relief work to culminate UAE’s humanitarian achievements that spanned over fifty years since the founding of the UAE, which succeeded in making a difference in the field of humanitarian work, which was translated on the ground by occupying for many years the first place in the world as the largest donor of foreign aid in the world, in relation to its national income.
