It is a celebration of the great will and strong determination of our founding fathers in building our State and the efforts made by the people of our nation until our country, praise be to God, became one of the largest countries in the world, growth and development wise.”
With these bright and expressive words of originality, pride in the achievements of the UAE, and optimism of its future, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him”, expressed his hope and envision of what it will be like during the next 50 years.
2021, the “Fiftieth Year”, as His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him” wanted it ,is the culmination of fifty years of an exemplary development process that carved the name of the Emirates with gold on all levels until our country became the homeland of peace, tolerance and giving, and occupied its position among developed nations.
The “Fiftieth Year ” announced by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, as a slogan for the year 2021 celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of founding the UAE, implies many expressive meanings and connotations. In this year, we celebrate qualitative achievements in various fields made by a young country, strong in its achievements, development and culture … a State founded on authentic values and firm principles established by the late father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, and his “brothers”, the founding fathers. The march of this State( the UAE) in giving and achievements has been continued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their “brothers”, members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Rulers of the emirates, until the UAE became one of the most advanced and prosperous countries in the world, inspiring others through its creative thinking and forward-looking visions.
