It is certain, and which does not accept any room for doubt, that crises carry many negatives, on any society, and that they require awareness and the ability to deal with them and contain their effects, and the civilization of this society relies on that to the extent that the society possesses the ability to deal with its crises and devise ways that ensure to get rid of them, and even prepare for them even before they happen.
There are societies and states that can seize the opportunity to transform their crises into successes, and exploit everything that is happening for the common good, by benefiting from and through the lessons of crises.
In fact, this is what can be said in the United Arab Emirates, which, thanks to its leadership wisdom, and its scientific and cultural capabilities, was able to take advantage of the Coronavirus crisis, which recently invaded the world, to turn this pandemic into a real test ground for the will and ability of society to withstand in the face is crises, as the state showed high transparency in dealing with this crisis, based on its national and moral responsibilities. This crisis actually strengthened the national belonging and the spirit of tolerance that the Emirates live in, as this was evident through the promotion of the volunteer philosophy, and the number of volunteers of different nationalities who helped surround the epidemic, and helped everyone who needed assistance. Those volunteers also participated in sterilization campaigns, and in campaigns which targeted community awareness, which contributed to containing the crisis and reducing its risks.
Although we can count many of the achievements made by the state and the Emirati society, the most important thing here is to reinforce the existing bond between members of society, and give priority to culture of tolerance and coexistence, which the UAE has been proud of, and has always become an inherent characteristic of it, as a country of peace, love, and coexistence, what qualified it to gain confidence and respect of the whole world.
