The “Dubai Civil Defence Readiness” development program is the first of its kind globally in the field of proactive firefighting and fire prevention.
I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for honouring us with the inauguration of the Dubai Civil Defence Readiness Room.

“I visited the Dubai Civil Defence Readiness Room, the first of its kind in the region, enhanced with an artificial intelligence system that supports proactive prediction and rapid response to fire hazards, which boosts preparedness and readiness to prioritize the safety of lives and protection of properties through the integration of advanced technology and innovation in firefighting efforts.”
The Dubai Civil Defence Readiness Room is the first of its kind in the region, utilizing big data technology for proactive firefighting.
Enhanced with an artificial intelligence system for rapid response, the room analyzes fire causes over the past five years, identifies wrong behaviours according to nationalities, and addresses each nationality in their own language, in line with their culture, occasions, and associated behaviours.
This program provides the best solutions in fire prediction and causes to protect lives and properties, and has received international praise from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The program relies on the use of big data technology by linking with government departments in the Emirate of Dubai.
The system includes a virtual civil defence officer who addresses the targeted segments in the Emirate in 20 different languages.
Furthermore, work is underway to program the officer with messages in the languages of most nationalities in the UAE.
The program sends targeted awareness SMS messages to the area and the most common fire hazards to avoid future incidents.
The program represents a significant leap in proactive firefighting by eliminating fire causes and reducing accident rates, thus enhancing the protection of lives and properties and leading to an increase in security and safety indicators in society.
I would also like to commend the efforts of the various Civil Defence teams in providing the best innovative solutions, keeping up with the latest global experiences and strategies, and utilizing smart tools and applications in emergency response and fire prevention, which contributes to enhancing the capabilities of firefighters and rescuers in protecting lives and properties. This enhances the status, security, and safety of the country and its society, including citizens, residents, and visitors, as it is a global tourist and economic destination.
