The 2nd of December is the emergence of a new national dawn
As is the case since 1971, a memory dear to the hearts of the people of the United Arab Emirates, the forty-ninth anniversary of the establishment of the edifice of the Union, a memory that has become, thanks to the national meanings and values it implies, engraved in the conscience and memory of the Emirati people in particular, and the Arab people in general.
The fact that we must stop at this great national occasion is that the celebration of the anniversary of founding of the Union State is no longer, thanks to what has been achieved by the giant civilizational achievements, a mere a celebration, as much as it is an occasion to confirm the national belonging, and the Emirati people rally behind their historical leadership, which it is an extension of the leadership of the late great founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who laid the strong foundations and the first building block in the majestic edifice of the union, and the establishment of the United Arab Emirates, the brightest union experience in modern Arab history, where the national leadership was able to lay the foundations strongly for a solid and civilized state of federation in every sense of the word, a state that has placed at the top of its concerns the respect of the human being, strengthening its capabilities, and making a prosperous future for the people of the Emirates, and its residents, under the umbrella of moral and human values that prevail in human rights and call for tolerance and coexistence, and the rejection of extremism, terrorism and advocacy of world peace, which made it a true oasis for a decent and humane life.
Although we may not be able to give this occasion its right with these few lines, what must be remembered here, is that this civilizational renaissance that carried the name of the Emirates into space would not have become a realistic reality had not been there close connection between the historical national leadership of the UAE, on top of it, President and armed forces Supreme Commander His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Emirati people of all sects and classes. Therefore, this occasion must be an opportunity to affirm belonging to the homeland and stand behind the brave national leadership, which has set the finest examples in its wisdom and courage that set its sights on protecting the homeland and its gains and preserving the human being and his dignity. For all of the above, the UAE deserves to be a homeland for everyone who looks for peace, humanity, and a nation of civilization and progress.
