Malaysia.. LIMA 2023 Is Set To Open Its Doors To 250,000 Visitors

The 16th Edition of Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition) LIMA 2023) is preparing to open its doors to visitors this May.

LIMA is one of the largest international exhibitions in the aerospace, space and defence industries.

Set to be held on the beautiful island of Langkawi, Malaysia, this biennial event is one of the largest maritime and aerospace exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, as LIMA 2023 is considered the Nexus of Maritime and Aerospace Trade, combining the best of the aerospace and maritime industries.

The 5-day exhibition will be held at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) and Resort World Langkawi (RWL) respectively from 23 to 27 May and will be open to Trade Visitors and investors for the first 3 days and the public for the last 2 days.

This Malaysian exhibition constitutes an opportunity to showcase the latest technologies, products and services in the aerospace and defence industry, including modern technology, innovations and developments in these industries.

The exhibition attracts many companies, suppliers, buyers, investors and experts, and helps strengthen cooperation between these companies, governments and institutions concerned with aviation, space and defence regionally and internationally.

Over 600 Defence & Security companies and commercial exhibitors from 30 nations will participate in the event.

LIMA 2023 will feature 20 international pavilions from the US, China, UK, France, UAE, Indonesia, Thailand, Italy, Türkiye, Brazil, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Czech Republic and others.

The exhibition will span over 20,000 square metres, utilising the indoor and outdoor spaces of MIEC to exhibit 110 aircraft and 110 vessels.

The event is expected to attract about 45,000 trade visitors, more than 250,000 public visitors and more than 400 VVIPs comprising Ministers of Defence and Ministers of Transport, Senior Officers and Service Chiefs from 59 countries.

Furthermore, LIMA 2023 provides visitors with an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the aviation, space and defence industries, as well as the latest technologies and innovations used in these industries.

Moreover, participants can hold meetings, discussions, workshops and presentations to exchange experiences and knowledge and expand their professional networks.
