India deploys stealth warship

India has launched a new P17A-class warship, developed for its Navy.
The P17A warships are a modified version of the Shivalik ships that India has been using since 2010, which use stealth techniques to evade hostile radars, and feature a hull covered with special radar waves absorbing paint and materials.
Each new warships is 149 m long, 17.8 m wide, with a water displacement rate of 6,670 tons, can sail at a speed of 28 knots, and has a range of 5,500 nautical miles on each mission.
These ships are armed with 76mm guns, AK-630М machine guns, RBU-6000 torpedoes, Brahmos cruise missiles and Barak-8 anti-aircraft missiles.
