Ukrainian Navy receives first Mi-2MSB helicopter

The 10th Ukrainian Naval Aviation Brigade received its first Mi-2MSB helicopter. The Mi-2MSB helicopter can be used to train new and existing pilots (thus extending the life of the more advanced and heavier Mi-8MSB-8 helicopters purchased in 2019) It has the capacity to provide transportation for personnel and supplies during day / night operations.

The Mi-2MSB is equipped with two Motor-Sich A-450V engines to replace the old Russian-made ITD-350s. The upgrade package additionally includes a number of improvements on the airframe and replacement of the main mission systems.
