Ukrainian company develops unmanned helicopter

The Ukrainian private defense company, Ramsay, unveiled its concept of the RZ-500 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UAV) at the recent arms and security fair in Kiev.

The RZ-500 is currently envisioned to be a hard-to-observe, multipurpose missile-armed unmanned combat aerial vehicle with an endurance of up to 120 minutes and a range of up to 300 km.

This unmanned helicopter can be armed with unguided missiles, precision-guided munitions, anti-tank missiles and heavy machine guns installed in a special compartment.

The RZ-500-armed unmanned aerial system, in its current configuration, can carry at least two anti-tank missiles, such as the Barrier-V, or missile capsules.
