Russia has announced that the new Russian S-500 missile system can hit targets even in space.
The S-500 system consists of two units, the first is an anti-missile unit and the second is an anti-aircraft unit. The anti-aircraft unit works on almost every type of flying object and the range of its operation is wider than that of the S-400 system, reaching up to 600 km, while the range of the S-400 is only 400 km.
The S-500 system is a robotic complex, equipped with artificial intelligence that can automatically identify and distinguish friends from foes, choosing the most dangerous target and the type of appropriate missile before launching it.
