Israel-based Plasan has delivered the first batch of 50 SandCat EX11 armoured vehicles to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
The design of the SandCat EX11 is based on the commercial Ford F550 chassis used by Plasan’s SandCat for nearly two decades.
Weighing less than 12 tons and featuring a V8 Ford engine, the EX-11 sand cat is a light armoured tactical vehicle designed to suit various missions such as urban law enforcement, peacekeeping missions, national security and border patrol,
The cost of the EX-11 is low as it uses the reliable commercial Ford F550 Super Duty chassis with a powerful engine and all-wheel drive while remaining safe in a Ford-certified GVW.
