The French Army receives the first Jaguar EBRC reconnaissance armoured vehicles

In December 2021, the GME consortium delivered the first 20 Jaguar Engin Blindé de Reception et de Combat EBRC reconnaissance and armored fighting vehicles to the French Army’s host organization in Canguires, southern France. After the Griffon, the delivery of the second wheeled armored vehicle of the Scorpion program to modernize the French army began. The French Ministry of Defense has reported the start of deliveries, and another 18 vehicles are expected in 2022.

The Jaguar 6×6 weighs approximately 25 tons and has a top speed of 80 km/h with its 370 kW Volvo diesel engine, providing space for a three-man crew with commander, gunner and driver.
