Taiwan unveils new suicide drone

Taiwan has unveiled its military drone program, showcasing locally made drones that can be launched from trucks to destroy enemy radars.

The demonstration included 12 single-use suicide drones on board a truck, each armed with a missile and powered by a helicopter engine before hitting the targets.

This suicide drone can fly for 5 hours continuously and has a range of 1000 km, and sources informed on the subject say Taiwan has had these drones since 2019.

In addition, Taiwan has developed a “Ting Yun” aircraft, similar to the American “MQ-9 Reaper” UAV, which can remain in the air for up to 24 hours and has unveiled several other combat drones.
