Russia has commenced serial production of the striking reconnaissance “Hunter” drone.
The upgrade saw the drone’s combat payload increase from 2.5 tons to 8 tons, rendering it the largest payload-carrying drone in the world, thanks to its engine derived from the “Su-57” fighter jet.
Moreover, this upgrade enables the “Hunter” to carry both air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles.
One of the key features of the new model is the flat nozzle, also used by the “Su-57” fighter jet.
The “Hunter” can be employed in tandem with “Su-57” fighters or autonomously to strike enemy ground and aerial targets. The materials utilized in the design of the “Hunter” structure have transformed it into a stealth drone, making it challenging for enemy air defences to detect.
