Russia unveils advanced reconnaissance system

Russia recently unveiled a reconnaissance system that detects wheeled vehicles within 120 metres, tracked vehicles within 200 metres, personnel within 30 metres, and transmits data to a remote command center up to 35 kilometers away.

The K144-E1 system includes infrared seismic sensors, so that  the system detects objects and determines the direction of their movement, calculates and identifies targets according to their types: manpower, wheeled or tracked vehicles. The seismic magnetic sensors are implanted in the soil, while the seismic infrared devices are camouflaged on the ground, and work continuously for 30 days. The installation time of the sensors does not exceed five minutes, taking into account the time of implantation and camouflaging in the soil.
