Russia has been testing several prototypes of the PAK-DA strategic bomber engine, which showed that the engine complies with design standards.
The PAK-DA is a new long-range strategic bomber under development in Russia, which is said to be capable of carrying a hypersonic missile in the internal bomb bay.
The bomber can also collaboratively operate with drones, and it does not feature a tail surface for stability and maneuvering, which minimizes the aircraft’s radar signature.
The bomber’s stability and maneuverability are achieved by the flight computer using electrically activated wing-mounted aerodynamic surfaces, such as flaps.
