While in the air, the Russian “Termit” attack unmanned helicopter fired guided missiles and hit training targets at a distance of 6000 meters.
The helicopter has been tested using live munitions. S-8L “air-to-surface” guided missiles will be part of the company’s range of unmanned helicopter weapons.
The network of artificial nerves used by the helicopter allows achieving the so-called “free fishing”, while its operator designates and tracks the targets. The helicopter performs the rest of the tasks autonomously.
The helicopter can carry 380mm S-8L guided air missiles. The missile is equipped with a self-guided laser warhead that hits targets at a distance of 6 km.
