Russia is building a new aircraft carrier

The Director General of the Russian United Ships Company announced that Russia is technically ready to build a new aircraft carrier.

It is supposed to have a length of 300 meters, a crew of 5,000, and carry on board the fifth generation “Su-57” fighters and “MiG-35” light fighters.

It will be powered by nuclear energy. It is possible that the naval base to be built in Sudan is one of the sites to be stationed in.

The company’s general manager explained that he had expected the new aircraft carrier to be built at his company’s “Sevmash” plant

Experts now tend to choose the Shtorm aircraft carrier project as the basis for the future nuclear aircraft carrier that will carry the Su-57 and MiG-35 fighters, naval helicopters and airborne radars.

It is noteworthy that Russia currently owns the aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov”, which came into use on January 20, 1991.
