Turkey-based “Roketsan” has announced the successful launch of the first supersonic missile from the “Bayraktar Akinci” drone, which accurately hit its target 100 km away.
Developed by Baykar, the Bayraktar Akinci drone fired the TRG-230-IHA supersonic missile from an altitude of 25,000 ft.
The new Turkish TRG-230-IHA air-launched supersonic missile has an effective range from 20 km up to 150 km and can hit targets with great accuracy.
Furthermore, it is the first Turkish hypersonic ballistic missile launched from the air.
