New shoulder-fired missile to enter service with the German army in 2024

The Enforcer shoulder-fired guided missile system designed and manufactured by MBDA will enter service with the German Army in 2024.

Development of the Enforcer began in 2014. In January 2020, MBDA announced a contract with the German Army to sell it the Enforcer, a new guided missile weapon that can be used to destroy both fixed and mobile lightly armored targets.

The MBDA Enforcer is a portable guided missile weapon system entirely designed and developed by MBDA. The weapon system consists of a disposable carbon fiber launch tube weighing less than 9 kg and a missile less than 7 kg. Enforcer’s sighting system provides day and night combat capabilities.
