The Type-X robotic combat vehicle developed by Milrem Robotics, the European leader in the development of autonomous robots and systems, has passed initial mobility tests.
The Type-X will become an intelligent arm of main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, capable of taking on the most dangerous missions and locations, resulting in reduced risk of death.
The X-Type’s low weight of 12 tons, high power combined with efficient power management, provides superior terrain capability and its low 2.2m height and rear engine, provide a low optical and thermal signature.
In addition, the Type-X is almost three to four times lighter and costs much less than a conventional IFV.
