Lithuania to purchase anti-tank weapons from Saab

The Swedish company SAAB has signed a framework agreement with the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense to purchase the Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon and ammunition, with a value of SEK 150 million.

Since the launch of the Carl Gustaf M4 in 2014, Saab has signed contracts with fourteen different countries for the system. The Carl-Gustaf M4 wide range of ammunition provides ultimate tactical flexibility, ready for any combat situation.

The Carl Gustaf M4, also called the M3E1 in the US Army, is the latest generation of multi-role anti-tank weapon systems in the Carl Gustaf family developed and manufactured by the Swedish company Saab. The main feature of the Carl Gustaf M4 is the introduction of a multi-role weapon for the modern infantry.
