Greek companies unveiled at the DEFEA 2021 Athens Greece – Exhibition that they are developing two new models of the ST60 class of military boats, named Phobos and Deimos.
The new boats were designed in cooperation with the Italian company Luciano Facchini, and will be manufactured in Greece, and will be used as military boats for special operations.
Although the ST60 boats are primarily intended for special military forces, their upgraded classes are capable of carrying out more diverse missions, and can also be relied on in search and rescue operations by Coast Guard forces.
It should be noted that the new developed versions of the ST60 boats are fast military boats, achieving speeds of up to 60 nautical knots, and a range of 400 nautical miles per mission.
