First Polish New Fighter Jet Revealed

Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) plans to supply Poland with 12 FA-50GF fighter jets by the end of this year.

In September 2022, KAI signed an executive contract with the Armament Inspectorate in Warsaw to provide them with 48 FA-50 aircraft.

The comprehensive deal includes FA-50 aircraft, spare parts, support, and simulation devices, all of which are expected to be delivered by 2025.

The deal also involves the establishment of a service centre, with maintenance activities scheduled to commence in 2026.

The FA-50 is a light fighter aircraft manufactured by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) for the Korean Air Force. It is a combat variant derived from the supersonic advanced jet trainer T-50 Golden Eagle and serves as a light attack aircraft.
