F-35A stealth fighter drops mock nuclear bomb in flight test

The F-35 stealth fighter dropped a mock refurbished B61-12 nuclear bomb, in a test field in the United States. It was the first time that such a bomb had been dropped from a supersonic aircraft. During the test, an F-35 dropped a bomb containing non-nuclear components simulating a nuclear payload, as the bomb was fired at an altitude of 10,500 feet and hit the target on the ground, and after 42 seconds the test was very important, because the F-35 stealth fighters carry their ammunition is inside the airframe, to avoid affecting its stealth qualities.
