Edge, the advanced technology pool for the defence sector and other fields, has announced that it has been ranked among the top 25 military supply companies in the world, according to data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
The inclusion of Edge in this classification is a new addition that strengthens the position of the United Arab Emirates, and the region in general, as it is the first time that a Middle Eastern company has been added to the ranking of the largest OEMs and security providers worldwide.
His Excellency Faisal Al Bannai, CEO and Managing Director of Edge said: “Coinciding with our celebrations of the first anniversary of the founding of our group, we are proud to have (EDGE) ranked as the first company in the Middle East to be added to the list of the top 25 military companies in the world, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. ”
It is worth noting that (EDGE) was established on November 5, 2019, and provides its expertise in five main sectors, including platforms and systems, missiles and weapons, cyber defence, war and electronic intelligence, and mission support.
