The Egyptian Air Force received 5 AW149 helicopters as a first batch from Leonardo.
Egypt is building its fleet of multi-functional AW149 helicopters, after it received 5 of the 24 helicopters from the deal signed with the Italian company Leonardo, in 2019 worth 871 million Euros. The aircraft are powered by General Electric’s CT7 engines.
