The Chinese government defence company, NORINCO, has introduced its latest generation of portable air defence systems, the LD35.
The LD35 system combines a 35mm automatic cannon with air defence missiles and laser weapons onto an 8X8 mobile platform, setting a new standard for integrated air defence capabilities.
Designed to provide robust close air protection, the LD35 serves as an independent and mobile air defence system, capable of operating in all weather conditions, safeguarding vital areas and mobile units.
The system is primarily aimed at intercepting a wide range of threats, including fixed-wing aircraft, armed helicopters, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, especially those attacking from medium and low altitudes.
