Blighter factory provides electronic scanning radars

The authorities of Blighter, the British designer and manufacturer of the Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radars and surveillance solutions, have announced that they have been selected to provide at least 25 target acquisition radars for a fleet of British Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFVs).

The initial contract with a major European defense company will run for approximately 3-5 years, with the possibility of extending and providing at least another 60 radars in the next phase.

It is worth noting that the Blighter B400 series of target acquisition radars, to be integrated with the defensive capabilities of this fleet, provide a long-range targeting capability of the weapon system, and are already in use around the world, as part of an integrated mobile border security platform deployed in Europe .
