America to produce new electronic warfare systems

The US Navy has agreed to Raytheon Corporation to begin production of the new generation of NGJ-MB electronic warfare systems for the EA-18G warplanes.

On the subject, Annabelle Flores, Vice President of Electronic Warfare Equipment Development at Raytheon said: “Raytheon has won contracts to develop 15 electronic systems for military engineering research, and 14 NGJ-MB systems for US Navy aircraft. We have completed the development of the last systems, and we’ll start moving to production.

The US Air Force’s EA-18G warplanes can evade many modern radars and electronic warfare systems, and are armed with AGM-88B guided missiles and modern versions of the AGM-88E AARGM.
