First Moroccan-Made UAV Unveiled

Moroccan engineering services company “Aerodrive” has unveiled the first Moroccan-made unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) called “VTOL ISR,” which can use both fuel and clean energy.

Characterized by its extremely lightweight design, this aircraft has five engines, four of which are electric and one fuel-powered.

It serves both civilian and military purposes and is equipped with the latest technologies and modern features, enabling it to conduct aerial surveys while transmitting live audio and video signals to a ground control centre.

The production and marketing of the first Moroccan-made UAV are expected to begin in 2025. Further models will be manufactured and undergo additional testing before the start of production and marketing of Moroccan-made drones.
