China has developed a new, integrated Type 625E air defence system, similar to the Russian Pantsir and the American Maneuver.
The system consists of 6 individual 25 mm anti-aircraft guns and missiles mounted on a tactical armoured vehicle.
The new system is designed to deal with and destroy airborne threats such as aircraft, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Furthermore, it has the ability to protect an area of up to 50 kilometres using explosive rounds to quickly target air threats from short, medium and long ranges.
