Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), a subsidiary of EDGE Group, has announced the launch of a 92-metre-long Corvette, a fast and powerful advanced ship.
The versatile and dynamic vessel, designed, built, and equipped to perform a wide range of coastal missions, features a helicopter deck and hangar, the ability to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), two inflatable rigid-hull boats, various combat systems, electronic warfare (EW), and a wide range of countermeasures.
With stealth and ballistic protection features, it provides advanced monitoring and protection capabilities across aerial, surface, and electronic warfare domains in the littoral operating theatre.
It has a top speed of 28 knots and can carry over 4,500 Newton metres of thrust at launch speed.
