Despite the (Pandemic) which disrupted public life in all countries, the UAE continues its generosity internally and externally, because it has rigorous epidemic investigative system for infectious and communicable diseases, and it also has instant response to deal with all global health challenges, therefore, UAE march towards achieving its vision of the centennial did not stop, to become one of the best countries worldwide in terms of fast recovery from the pandemic, and in prosperity, health , safety and security sustainability.
During the crisis, our country proved its ability to contain the pandemic, due to the prudent vision of our wise leadership and its support and follow up extended to First Defense line efforts, as well as its ongoing support given to specialized government supportive and community voluntary teams encompassing locals and residents of different sectors.
Hence, UAE managed to enhanced medical care system by beefing it with highly skilled human cadres and sophisticated technological capabilities, raising huge initiatives to stimulate the spirit of social solidarity, and was keen to secure decent life for hundreds of labors whose business was suspended, helped thousands who were interested to return to their home, issued a number of encouraging and empowering decisions to support the projects which was affected by the pandemic.
Also, placed the safety of employees and customers on top of its priority upon resuming the work, hence providing modern disinfection system (using UV rays to disinfect offices), in addition to many other advance devices including thermal diagnosis cameras, testing instruments that give results in a record time, isolation centers within departments for emergency cases, providing offices with free masks and sanitizers, implementing a successful experience of remotely working system in public and private sectors.
At International level, UAE has proved its global leadership, by raising various integrated initiatives to rescue stranded people in affected areas (from different nationalities), and return them safe to their countries, sending medical assistances to more than 50 countries to help them combating the Novel CORONA virus, estimated at more than 570 tons of medical aid to relief 570 thousands of medical care providers. About 80% of the medical items allocated by World Health Organization (WHO) to help in combating the pandemic was dispatched from Dubai to different parts of the world.
Based on these achievements, projects of recovery stage and return to normal life was launched in UAE, witnessed attentiveness and commitment of Government and community, to prevent pandemic recurrence, as ( Everyone today is responsible for everyone). Hence, we have the right to confirm what H.H.Sheikh Bin Rashid ALMaktoum has said: “CORONA experience has made us stronger, better and fast”.
