French Military Introduces New Anti-Drone Combat Vehicle

The French Army has officially unveiled its first anti-drone combat vehicle, the VAB ARLAD, marking a significant development in its anti-drone capabilities.

The process begins with the detection and tracking of the drone using radar or other sensing systems. Once the target is identified, an airburst shell is launched along a calculated trajectory to intercept the drone.

At this point, a precisely timed explosion achieves maximum shrapnel dispersion, thereby increasing the chances of hitting fast-moving drones.
