Cobra Artillery Radars receive important new updates

The core testing systems of the Cobra Artillery Radar used by many NATO armies, have been updated.

Cobra is a mobile radar system that locates enemy artillery and missiles, calculates the trajectory of projectiles in advance to provide early warning and enables defensive measures if necessary.

Cobra’s features include NATO compatibility, active multitasking, a system consisting of an operations vehicle, a signal receiver and processor, a data processing system, and a control system.

The cabin is well-armoured and protected against electromagnetic pulses, and it can detect sources of gunfire and missile launch bases.

Furthermore, it has the ability to identify and track 40 batteries and direct anti-weapon systems within two minutes. It requires 3 crew members and has a range of 40 kilometres.
