His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, presided over the first meeting of the Supreme Organising Committee for the Dubai Airshow 2025 on April 17.
The meeting reviewed the ongoing preparations for the 19th edition of the prestigious event, which is set to take place from November 17 to 21, 2025. The Dubai Airshow continues to serve as a strategic platform that highlights the UAE’s global leadership in the aviation and aerospace sectors and showcases the country’s remarkable progress in these vital industries.
Speaking during the meeting, His Highness said: “The Dubai Airshow, supported by the vision of our wise leadership and the collaboration of our strategic partners, reinforces Dubai’s status as a global hub for innovation and advanced technologies. We are proud of the achievements of previous editions and look forward to this year’s event marking a new milestone that reflects our future ambitions.”
The committee discussed the latest developments related to organisational procedures and logistics, with His Highness commending the high level of readiness and expressing gratitude to all entities involved for their continued efforts in strengthening the Airshow’s reputation as one of the most prominent events of its kind globally.
The 2023 edition of the Dubai Airshow witnessed the announcement of deals exceeding USD 101 billion, drawing participation from more than 1,400 exhibitors representing 148 countries. The event also welcomed over 135,000 visitors, cementing its role as a central meeting point for the global aviation industry.
