The Russian Army has received a new delivery of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles, equipped with advanced protective upgrades, from the Russian defence manufacturer High Precision Systems.
The updated BMP-3s feature enhanced defensive capabilities, including reinforced base armour and cage armour designed to mitigate damage from enemy fire. The vehicles are also fitted with the “Mnogel” counter-drone system, a rapidly deployable anti-UAV solution aimed at neutralising aerial threats on the battlefield.
In addition, the BMP-3s have been equipped with radar and thermal signature-suppressing covers, made from flame-resistant materials. These stealth-enhancing measures reduce the vehicle’s visibility to enemy detection systems, significantly improving its survivability in combat scenarios.
Recognised as one of the most advanced armoured personnel carriers globally, the BMP-3 continues to play a key role in modernising Russia’s ground forces and enhancing their operational readiness.
