Russian defence experts have developed a new strike drone, named Archangel, featuring a unique set of operational capabilities. The drone is capable of vertical take-off like an FPV drone, while achieving flight speeds of up to 280 km/h.
Designed for versatility in combat environments, the Archangel can carry payloads ranging from 700 grams to 7 kilograms, making it suitable for delivering various types of munitions. With a maximum strike range of 50 kilometres, it can engage a wide array of targets including military bunkers, vehicles, equipment, unmanned boats, and enemy communication or control towers.
What sets the Archangel apart is its launch flexibility—it can be deployed either from the ground or released mid-air from fighter jets and military aircraft, significantly expanding its tactical applications on the battlefield.
