Pakistan has introduced a new precision-guided weapon, the AZB-81LR, further strengthening its position in the global defence market.
Developed by Qaswa Industries, this long-range guided bomb is designed for high-precision strikes, boasting a range exceeding 200 kilometres and an accuracy of up to three metres, utilising GNSS guidance systems and IIR sensors.
Equipped with AI-driven smart capabilities and machine learning, the weapon ensures autonomous and efficient operations, even in complex electronic warfare environments. It also features radar signature reduction technology, making it an ideal choice for precision strikes while minimising collateral damage.
Pakistan aims to expand defence collaborations with Turkey and China by integrating the AZB-81LR onto multiple platforms, including the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet, CASC CH-4 and Bayraktar TB2 drones, as well as modified Mirage III and Mirage V aircraft.
